PHILOSOPHY

At Hometown Child Care, it is our goal to build meaningful relationships with our families. We are committed to providing a nurturing, loving atmosphere for your child to enjoy as they learn and grow physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

All of our programs encourage wellness through healthy meals and snacks, as well as indoor and outdoor age-appropriate, large motor opportunities.

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE PART OF THE HOMETOWN CHILD CARE FAMILY

Our team lives these core values and demonstrates them in how we interact with each other, how we run our classrooms and how we engage our families.

What sets us apart?

  • Our programs have been recognized with ExceleRate Illinois Bronze and Silver Circles of Quality.
  • Our teachers are highly educated and qualified, all are Certified in CPR, First Aid, and SIDS & SUID (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Sudden Unexpected Infant Death). They also participate in a minimum of 15 professional development hours per year.
  • We believe in maintaining a ‘shoe-free’ environment to keep our classrooms clean and safe for children who are sitting, crawling, and playing on the floor.

Hometown Child Care has a professional nurse visit monthly to inspect the safety of the center’s environment and to review and discuss any illness that has been reported in the last month.
