Hometown Child Care Lincoln offers:
Hometown Child Care Lincoln enrolls children from 0-5 years of age that are eligible for Child Care Assistance, Early Head Start as well as Preschool For All eligible families.
The Early Head Start program promotes the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers through safe and developmentally enriching caregiving. Early Head Start programs support parents, both mothers and fathers, in their role as primary caregivers and teachers of their children. The program assists families in meeting their own personal goals and achieving self-sufficiency across a wide variety of domains, such as housing stability, continued education, and financial security. Qualifying families can also enjoy benefits such as smaller class sizes, free formula, diapers & wipes.
Preschool for All is a high-quality preschool for 3 and 4 year olds. This program requires certified teachers who hold bachelor’s degrees and specialized training in early education. Preschool for All provides high-quality programming designed to foster the full spectrum of skills— social, emotional, physical, and cognitive—that all young children need to achieve success in school and in later life. Children who participate in high-quality preschool programs make better progress in language, math, and social skills than their peers who have missed this opportunity.
